"Posey
Wreath" (Click thumbnail to print stitchery
pattern. It should print out approx. 6 1/2 x 7 1/2-inches)

"Happy Spring" (Click thumbnail to print stitchery
pattern. It should print out approx. 6 x 7 3/4-inches)
To print out
patterns, make sure your printer setting is for the actual size, not
to fit page or enlarge.
Cut muslin and thin
batting (or white flannel) a minimum of 3 inches larger than design.
I prefer to stain or distress my muslin before I stitch and then go
back and lightly stain after the stitching is completed. Use a
mechanical pencil to trace the design onto the muslin. Stitch with
either 2 strands of embroidery floss or pearl cotton. Wouldn't it be
great in redwork? Buttons could also be used for the flower centers.
This lil'
stitchery would be great either framed or made into a pillow. Make
two! One to keep and one to share!
